Craing for Your Silk

Silk is a natural protein fiber prized for its softness, breathability and elegance. With proper care, your FANCYSILK pieces will remain beautifuk and comfortable for years.

Silk Underwear

For the best care, we recommend gentle hand washing.

Washing

• Hand wash in cold water.
• Use a mild, ph-neutral detergent. ( If unavailable, a gentle shampoo or body wash may also used.)

• Do not soak for long periods.
• Wsah gently without rubbing, wringing or scrubbing.
• Wash dark colours and printed styles seperately during the first few washes.

Drying

• Lay flat or hang to dry naturally.
• Dry in a shaded, well-ventilated area.
• Avoid direct sunlight.
• Do not tumble dry.

Avoid

• Bleach
• Fabric softeners
• High heat
• Dry cleaning

Silk Apparel & Eyelet Fabric

Our silk tops, dresses, skirts and eyelet fabric garments require gentle care to preserve their softness and shape.

Hand Washing( Recommended)

• Wash in cold water using a mild, ph-neutral detergent.
• Shampoo or body wash may also be used as a gentle alternative.

Machine Washinh

Machine washing is possible when extra care is taken.

• Turn garments inside out.
• Place items inside a laundry bag.
• Select a delicate or silk cycle.
• Use cold water
• Spin on lowspeed (about 1 minutes).

Drying

• Hang or lay flate to dry.
• Avoid direct sunlight.
• Do not tumble dry.

Additional Care Tips

Natural silk may release a small amount of excess dye during the first few washes, especially darker colours. This is a normal characteristic of natural silk and does not affect product quality.

To keep your garments looking their best : 

• Wash similar colours together.
• Iron on low heat if needed.
• Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
